Get ready to run, imagine, create, and play! Story Wars: Kids Edition is a high-energy creativity adventure happening right at Bexley Park. This isn’t just storytelling — it’s moving, exploring, laughing, and using your imagination in the middle of nature.
Kids of all ages are invited to create, perform, and cheer each other on. You don’t have to be a “good writer” — you just have to be ready to have fun!
Parents and caregivers are welcome to join the fun or relax and watch the creativity unfold!
How It Works:
Each round starts with an adventure!
A creative prompt is hidden somewhere in the park — maybe at the playground, inside a hula hoop, near a tree, or at a special “nature station.”
When it’s time to begin, kids will race (safely!) to a designated spot to grab the prompt.
Once the prompt is revealed, everyone gets 5 minutes to create something amazing!
You can:
- Write a short story
- Act out a scene
- Make up a song
- Create a silly commercial
- Turn your story into a playground performance
- Or invent something totally new!
Then it’s showtime! Share your creation with the group and cheer for others.
